Adopt a Precinct (AAP)

About the program:

The Adopt-A-Precinct (AAP) program is an initiative of the Hernando County Supervisor of Elections (SOE) which creates a partnership between your 501(c)(3) charitable organization and the SOE.

Members of your organization that are registered voters in Hernando County may volunteer their services to be an Election Worker or Election Day and during Early Voting. the monies that they would have earned are paid directly to your 501(c)(3) organization. The benefits are three-fold:

1) Your organization can earn up to $2,357 on Election Day and up to $855 for each day of Early Voting worked. All you have to do is provide the volunteers - we do the rest!

2) The SOE benefits from having a voting precinct staffed by Election Workers (your volunteers) that already know each other and work well together.

3) The voters in Hernando County will enjoy an excellent voting experience.

Increase the visibility of your charitable organization by partnering with the SOE in the Adopt-A-Precint program today! For more information, call the Election Worker Coordinator at (352)-754-4125.
